Are you k-drama lover? If yes, do you remember K-dramas named Winter Sonata, Autumn in My Heart, Full House, Boys over Flowers, and the hottest one, Descendant of the Sun? Or if you’re K-variety show lover, do you know 2 Days 1 Night or The Return of Superman? Those dramas and variety shows was produced by KBS -Korean Broadcasting System- a public broadcasting station at SK which also had its own broadcasting exhibition hall named KBS ON. Since I think KBS ON will be fulfilled with DotS stuff at that time, I was curious to go there.
KBS ON located at the right side from KBS main building and if you’re alone or below 10 person, you could go there easily without making any reservation. KBS ON consist of 5 floors, and divided by some themes like drama, radio, news, sport until cartoon zones. It also had a small museum where you could learn broadcasting history. To make it more educative, it also had an interactive spot where you could act as anchor or DJ.
I went there to see some DotS Stuffs but sadly, it only had Captain Yoo standing banners and two big DotS posters. But I ended up enough happy bcos I also saw 2 Days 1 Night Season 3 standing banner (the old era without Donggu) and Autumn in My Heart’s pics which became my tearjerker K-drama all the time. I’m also happy for stepping at the same stairs from 2 Days 1 Night opening scene, yay! Anyway, at the left side main entrance KBS ON, you could also see radio programs on air freely since it was made by glass wall. It’s such a good experience to see real work of DJ-ing since we’re usually only hear DJ’s voice.

How to go there:
By Subway. Get off at National Assembly Station (Line 9) Exit 4 or Yeouido Station (Line 5 or 9)Exit 3. KBS building is located within 20 minutes walking distance of those stations but you still need a detailed maps from those stations to KBS building. Last year, I used bus and ended up a lil bit lost to go there bcos I didn’t used maps. For detailed maps click here.
Level of love:
♥♥ (KBS ON is a good place to learn broadcasting, however during my trip, I just ended up only taking pics, LOL)
